Dr. Laks Meyyappan (Ph.D)

Laks Meyyappan currently works for Caterpillar, Inc in Peoria, IL. He has worked in both USA and UK for Caterpillar. His previous experience includes working as a visiting faculty and post doctoral fellow at University of Missouri Rolla. He graduated with a Ph.D in Engineering Management from University of Missouri Rolla. He also has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from University of Missouri Rolla.

His professional interests are in the fields of data analysis, data mining, predictive analysis, forecasting, software development, planning, optimization and project management. He has also taught and developed course work in data analysis, project management, and finance. He has led various 6 sigma projects and conducted online training for industrial workers. He has worked on numerous industry, government, and academic projects. Several of his work has been published in journal and conference proceedings.

Dr. Dhruv Pant (Ph.D)

Dhruv K Pant currently works at University of Pennsylvania's department of cancer biology as bioinformatics analyst. His previous experiences include research at Drexel University Physics department in systems biology and then worked as a computational scientist at Cold Spring Harbor labs in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. Previously he held a senior research position at Lucent's JDS Uniphase. He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India. He graduated with a Ph. D in Chemical Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He also holds a post-doctoral research at Brown University in chemical dynamics.

His professional interests are in the fields of gene regulation involving microRNAs and transcription factors, microarray data analysis to help with the development of mouse models to understand cancer recurrence and metastasis.

Mr. Vijay Krishnan

Vijay Krishnan has been in the advisory board of Liberty Institution since inception and has been the driving force behind Liberty Institution's innovation and leadership in the market for advanced training, online training and online assessment solutions. Vijay serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Across Borders Management Consulting Group. Prior to starting the company, he spent many years as a member of the technical and management team in Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial companies including Motorola, Fiserv, SecondSpace and Ultramatics Inc.

Vijay graduated from Bharathidasan University (India) with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. Vijay also holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Vijay also holds professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma and Rational Unified Process (RUP).

Mr. Balaji Srinivasan

Balaji Srinivasan is a Senior Software Architect with more than 11 years of strong IT experience spanning various sectors including publishing, insurance, and retail. Mr. Srinivasan specializes in creating strategic IT roadmaps and in helping companies implement scalable IT solutions that provide long term business value. He has worked for Scholastic and various fortune 500 companies including Supervalu, Panasonic and MetLife. He currently specializes in creating packaged Ecommerce solutions for publishing companies.

Mr. Srinivasan holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from Bharathiar University, India. His professional interests are in creating low cost E-Commerce solutions and in applying technology to solve problems in the education sector. Mr. Srinivasan is currently pursuing his MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Durham, North Carolina, USA.
